Last night was the American Idol, Hollywood auditions: Round 2. Katrina Darrell did not make the cut. In fact, about the only thing that Bikini Girl, aka Katrina Darrell seems to have that is redeemable, is that body she displays. Last night, we were able to get a peek at what makes Bikini Girl tick.

Katrina Darrell joined other American Idol hopefuls for a group routine to work out for the competition and she let her whole group down. Bikini Girl proved not to be a team player at all. Her self-centeredness cost her American Idol shot at fame, but not necessarily Bikini Girl’s shot at other fame avenues.

Last night’s American Idol competition was very demanding, with most of the hopefuls buckling down and rehearsing their group routines throughout the night. Many hopefuls did not make last night’s judges cut.

Bikini Girl’s cut from American Idol did not seem to phase her in the least, as she walked off the stage. Mugging, smiling for the cameras; Katrina Darrell seemed to know something, no one else did. Bikini Girl may have left American Idol, stage right; but she just is just beginning her media blitz.

Katrina Darrell is now the most media hyped person, to come out of American Idol this season. Her glamour shots are posted all over the Internet now. Bikini Girl has that 15 minutes of fame and she is jumping on it, while the fire is still hot.

Don’t dismiss Bikini Girl too fast. We have not seen the last of Katrina Darrell. Rude, obnoxious and ego driven to a fault, Bikini Girl will be stretching her 15 minutes of fame into a possible career. You can take that to the bank.
